First industrial secondary school opened in Khan Sheikhoun, Idleb countryside

Hama, SANA- Idleb Education Directorate has inaugurated the first industrial secondary school in Khan Sheikhoun area in the liberated Idleb countryside.

Head of Idleb Education Directorate, Eng. Abdul Hamid Mi’amar, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the Ministry of Education has provided the secondary school with all its needs of modern equipment and laboratories with the aim of raising the level of education and providing the necessary skills for students and training them in a practical way.

He indicated that the secondary school adopts educational methods based on curricula that take into account industrial and technological developments, with a focus on the practical aspect, which contributes to enabling students to possess the knowledge and professional skills necessary to enter the labor market in the future.

Mi’amar indicated that a division for the commercial secondary school was opened in Adnan al-Maliki Secondary School in Khan Sheikhoun, and the directorate sought to open a similar division in Sinjar township, but the lack of a sufficient number of students prevented this.

He expressed the directorate’s full readiness to open schools in any gathering of the locals and to equip them immediately with all their requirements of desks and water tanks to ensure the continuity of the educational process for pupils and students.

It is noteworthy that the total number of schools that were opened after their restoration in the liberated countryside of Idleb is 94, of which 22 were opened this year.
