Brazilian President affirms his country’s firm support to Syria 

Brasilia, SANA- Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva affirmed his country’s permanent firm support to Syria and to restoring its stability.

Lula da Silva remarks came during receiving credentials of the Syrian new ambassador to Brazil, Rania al-Haj Ali, in the presence of Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.

During the ceremony, President Lula Da Silva stressed his country’s firm and stable stance in supporting Syria in international forums and circles, as well as its permanent support for the return of peace to it.

In turn, Ambassador al-Haj Ali affirmed Syria’s willingness to deepen the political, economic and cultural relations and to strengthen the friendship and cooperation relations between both countries.
